Police pursuit ends in death of officer in Pennsylvania

A police chase that crossed state lines into Pennsylvania earlier this month ended in tragedy when the car that was being pursued crashed into a sheriff's deputy and killed him. The suspect was arrested by the Pennsylvania State Police on suspicion of homicide by vehicle. Initial reports say that the driver appeared intoxicated.

Rental cars may cause car crashes in Pennsylvania

Recalls on vehicles are fairly common. Sometimes they are critical recalls and some of them won't affect the safety of the vehicle. Most people might assume that most drivers service their recalled vehicles, but it would surprise many people to know that rental car companies have not been servicing all of their recalled cars.

Commonwealth v. Candice Steinbacher – Motion for Judgement Acquittal Granted

Motion for Judgment of Acquittal for a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) prosecution was granted by Lycoming County President Judge Nancy L. Butts, after Attorney Kyle Rude argues that the Commonwealth could not prove Ms. Steinbacher was in actual physical control of a motor vehicle. Ms. Steinbacher was arrested after Williamsport City Police believed she switched seats with her boyfriend in order to avoid an arrest for DUI.
