The dangers of driving or riding in a car are evident every day in the news. When a drunk driver or a distracted driver is involved, car accidents can become all the more serious. These types of accidents are likely to cause injuries and property damage.

Employers have a legal obligation to keep their employees safe while they are working. However, employees are still often injured on the job. When employees experience a workplace accident, they can suffer from serious injuries. These injuries may temporarily prevent the work accident victim from being able to work. In some cases, these injuries are so severe that the employee is permanently disabled or is even killed in the accident.

Pennsylvania woman killed in truck accident

Roadways are often bombarded with large trucks moving freight and other goods all over the country. While these trucks are important to Pennsylvania's economy, they can also pose a big danger to other drivers. Distracted or fatigued truck drivers can easily cause multi-vehicle accidents and serious injuries to other drivers.

Motorcyclist hits SUV after vehicle fails to yield; rider injured

May was Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month in Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, during the last few days of May, another Pennsylvania motorcyclist was injured because of a possibly negligent driver's failure to yield.

Commonwealth v. Candice Steinbacher – Motion for Judgement Acquittal Granted

Motion for Judgment of Acquittal for a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) prosecution was granted by Lycoming County President Judge Nancy L. Butts, after Attorney Kyle Rude argues that the Commonwealth could not prove Ms. Steinbacher was in actual physical control of a motor vehicle. Ms. Steinbacher was arrested after Williamsport City Police believed she switched seats with her boyfriend in order to avoid an arrest for DUI.
