Not everyone owns their own home. Many Williamsport, Pennsylvania residents rent apartments, condos and houses for their personal use. In these cases, people rely on their landlords to keep the property safe. They should feel safe on the property and not fear for their safety. It is the landlord's duty to keep the property free from obvious danger. Things like inadequate lighting, hazardous conditions or negligent repairs can easily cause serious injuries to inhabitants.

The warmer weather of spring brings lots of changes to Pennsylvania. The snow and ice are gone, the grass is green and motorcycles are back on the roadways. Drivers need to remember to be careful to check their blind spots and double check intersections for these smaller vehicles. Drunk driving accidents are a reality on Williamsport, Pennsylvania roads. There are drivers who do not take the safety of themselves or others into account and get behind the wheel. Pennsylvania worker injured in chainsaw accident

A Pennsylvania worker is lucky to be alive following a serious accident with a chainsaw. According to reports, a freak accident occurred while the man was in a tree while working for a tree service business. Apparently, the chainsaw the man was using somehow kicked back and got lodged in the man's neck and shoulder. Following the accident, the injured worker was able to grab the saw, turn it off and hold it to him while a co-worker got him down from the tree.

Dump truck causes accidents -- driver sentenced to prison

Large trucks have a destructive power almost unlike any other vehicle allowed on Pennsylvania roadways. In fact, some of these trucks are made specifically to aid in the demolition of buildings and roadways and for other construction projects. Passenger vehicles are no match for these large and powerful machines. Therefore, people in smaller vehicles are at a greater risk whenever they are involved in an accident with a large construction vehicle or commercial truck.

Commonwealth v. Candice Steinbacher – Motion for Judgement Acquittal Granted

Motion for Judgment of Acquittal for a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) prosecution was granted by Lycoming County President Judge Nancy L. Butts, after Attorney Kyle Rude argues that the Commonwealth could not prove Ms. Steinbacher was in actual physical control of a motor vehicle. Ms. Steinbacher was arrested after Williamsport City Police believed she switched seats with her boyfriend in order to avoid an arrest for DUI.
